Overview
UnMask Her is more than an annual women's event … it is a movement. Built for women of color and open to all women, it creates space for the kind of honesty that transforms: peeling back performance, confronting buried truths, and walking out free. The brand had to carry that same weight without being heavy. It needed to feel like a sacred invitation, not a confrontation. The visual identity answers that tension with precision. At the center is a high-contrast serif wordmark where a woman's silhouette … face lifted, profile sharp … is embedded between "Mask" and "Her," making the entire message visible in a single mark: she is the one being unmasked, and she is beautiful. A palette of dusty mauve, deep wine, charcoal, and warm gold holds softness and strength in the same breath. Juana's editorial serif carries authority and femininity in the headlines; Quicksand softens it in supporting copy. The system extends across every environment where a woman encounters the brand … from the info cards to the retractable banner and photo backdrop that greet her at the door, to the "LIBERATED" merch she wears home as a declaration. This is not just event branding. It is a testimony in design form.
